Over time he really revealed himself to be just the best person we could’ve got. And John Frusciante’s such a powerful musician and left such an imprint on our band and gave so much as a writer, as a player, a serious part of our band, that no one could ever replace John. No one’s ever gonna step in and do what John did. But Josh came in and does what Josh does and does it in a beautiful way.

Prue: Yeah, I mean, I know we can’t be together forever.

Piper: But it feels good that forever isn’t today.

There were some people that really resented me for starting this band. “How dare you fucking start another band”? They asked me “How could you decide to carry on and make music that sounds like Nirvana”? I said “Wait a minute what do you mean?” Like loud rock guitars and melodys? And cymbals crashing and big ass drums? Because that’s what I do - I mean I was in that band and that’s what I do. What do you want me to fucking make a reggae record?

Piper: Yeah, next time get your own damn lipstick. 
Prue: I heard that. 
Piper: I love you.
